As part of the promotion of the Philippine National Health Research System (PNHRS) Week on August 11-15, the Philippine Council for Health Research and Development (PCHRD) is conducting a press conference on August 12, 2008.

To be held at Anabel's Restaurant in Quezon City at 9AM, the press conference will feature Dr. Jaime C. Montoya, Executive Director of the PCHRD, Dr. Ma. Lourdes Rebullida, Chair of the PNHRS Capacity Building Committee, and Dr. Juan M. Nañagas, Chair of the PNHRS Structure/Organization, Monitoring and Evaluation (SOME) Committee as resource people.

Dr. Montoya will be answering questions regarding the PNHRS Week celebration, Dr. Rebullida on the Best Mentor Awards, while Dr. Nañagas on the PNHRS Outstanding Health Research Consortium Award.

The PCHRD is one of the major pillars and initiators of the PNHRS.
