R1HRDC calls for 2017 Health Research Proposals

The Region 1 Health Research and Development Consortium (R1HRDC) thru the Research and Development Committee (R&D) is now calling for research proposals that are aimed to address pressing and current health concerns in the region.

At least Php 500,000 in funding support from the Regional Research Fund of the Philippine Council for Health Research and Development (PCHRD) will be used to support researches spanning National Unified Health Research Agenda (NUHRA) includes:Drug Discovery and Development,Development of Diagnostic Kits for Priority Diseases,Genomic and Molecular Technology,Functional Food,Hospital Equipment and Biomedical Devices and Chronobiology.And for Regional Unified Health Research Agenda (RUHRA):Local Governance,Health Needs of Special Group,Bio-medical Research and Climate Change.

Interested proponents are expected to submit their research proposals in capsule or full blown on or before June 30, 2017. The Following format is required for the submitted proposals: (1) Project Title, (2) Project Leader, (3) Significance of the Proposal, (4) Methodology, (5) Expected Output/s and (6) Line Item Budget.
