MALAUS CO PU!

It is with great pride that we welcome you to Central Luzon for the 15th Philippine National Health Research System Week Celebration.

Health Research has always been in the forefront of innovation and this year’s conference is another gateway to come together to enhance our health policies, improve our health care system and make adaptive, feasible solutions as we recover from the COVID-19 pandemic. May this event celebrate the resiliency we have shown as we respond to our current and future public health concerns.

Mikit-ikit tamu pu king August 8-12, 2022!

The colorful culture of Region III

The Giant Lantern Festival and the Hot Air Balloon Festival are both enchanting festivals with likewise fascinating back stories of resiliency.

The international balloon fest was initiated in 1994 to resuscitate the fledging spirit of the Kapampangans - only three years following the eruption of Mt. Pinatubo. The century old lantern festival withstood many calamities and even wars.

The hurdler can be seen leaping across the letters on the logo. Like an athlete that runs and jumps over each hurdle, it is a representation of how Filipinos respond to every challenge.

Yellow and orange, which represents the dawn or the new morning, and the addition of other colors that are analogous to “tomorrow” or “future,” complements the design and the overall theme.

Greetings to all of our partners in health!

I extend my warmest welcome to everyone joining us in the 15th Philippine National Health Research System Week hosted by the Central Luzon Health Research and Development Consortium (CLHRDC)!

This year, we banner the theme “Health Research: Responding to Challenges towards National Recovery and Resiliency.” Along with our thrust for a strong recovery and a pandemic-resilient healthcare system, we highlight the importance of health research and innovation. As with all such conferences, including this year’s PNHRS Week, we want to initiate discourse, and advocate for research-based solutions from across disciplines in healthcare.

The strength of the PNHRS lies in its diverse yet interconnected network, as we are always able
to build on partnerships in R&D to help address the country’s most pressing health concerns and achieve our overall goals in health.

Join us in another meaningful celebration of the PNHRS Week, as we share best practices and
experiences in pursuit of healthier lives for the Filipinos through health research and development.

Mabuhay ang PNHRS!

The celebration will be conducted on 08-12 August 2022 in a hybrid format of face-to-face and virtual conference. The face-to-face activities will be held at Clark Marriot Hotel, Pampanga, to be attended by a total of 250 persons and streamed via Zoo, and Facebook Live for the virtual participants.
