Two (2) research studies have been approved for funding under Regional Research Fund Grants of the Department of Science and Technology - Philippine Council for Health Research and Development (DOST-PCHRD) through the Cordillera Regional Health Research and Development Consortium (CRHRDC). These studies are both spearheaded by the University of the Philippines Baguio entitled:

1. “Quantification of Antibiotic Resistance Genes of Enterobacteriaceae from an Organic Farm and Their Products in Benguet” by Dr. Roland Hipol (UP Baguio)

2. "Bacterial Antibiotic Resistance Pollution in the Balili River" by Dr. Ronie Calugay (UP Baguio).
